Training For Anaphylaxis

Course Description

Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) can kill without immediate first aid management. The UK is one of the top three countries in the world for the incidence of allergies. An estimated 21 million adults suffer from at least one allergy and 6 - 8% percent of children have a proven food allergy. Training for anaphylaxis is for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector for the treatment of anaphylaxis.

This Anaphylaxis training course will give delegates the required knowledge, understanding and skill to manage an allergic or anaphylactic reaction within any setting. This Anaphylaxis training course is suitable for staff working in the Care Homes, GP or Health Centres, Schools, Nurseries, or any setting where you might be called upon to assist a person having an anaphylactic reaction.

This course will provide the delegates with the required knowledge, understanding and skill to safely manage anaphylaxis through the use of pre-filled auto injectors such as the Epipen, Jext Emerade or through the use of Patient Group Directives.
